Singapore turns 58 this year! There are lots of fun things to do and events to check out for the whole family over the National Day Weekend and National Day itself in Singapore. Time to plan your family’s white and red ensemble and head down to these activities around the island!
RSAF Island Flypast Routes on 9 August 2024!
Fly Our Flag:
Spot our State Flag being carried by our Chinook Helicopter and escorted by a pair of Apache helicopters, making their way through the heartlands via two routes (Eastern & Western) from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm.
RSAF55 Island Flypast
Commemorating RSAF55, an RSAF55 Island Flypast featuring the A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport along with six F-16D+ and three F-15SG fighter aircraft will fly through the heartlands from 5:40 pm to 6:10 pm.
National Day at Heartlands
Take part in community activities at five heartland locations across Singapore: Bedok Stadium, Jurong West Stadium, Toa Payoh Stadium, Woodlands Stadium (5 and 6 Aug), and Our Tampines Hub (6 Aug). You can also catch the NDP fireworks display at all five sites on 9 Aug, and catch the island flypast across Singapore.
17th National Day Sing-along
Join us as we celebrate Singapore’s 58th year of independence at the 17th National Day Sing-Along! This year’s programme features three thematic segments: the history of Singapore with sand painting, xinyao tunes unique to Singapore, and uplifting songs to end on a high note.
